Question for you good folks. - Comments

  • Iiiiicky. I'm sorry babe. I half-hope it was just a mistake--don't want you to have a fracture--but also half-hope it wasn't, just so they have an ANSWER to why you're in so much pain. 'Cause if you locate a problem, you can find a solution.

    1. I'm not sure, but I think so...
    2. No. Never had a hurt bone. Gots me some hard-*ss German bones, I do. ^^
    3. Awh, babe. That kinda thing is risky, but y'know, I'm answering this loooong after the fact, so it hardly matters. xD
    4. Exhausted. Lonely. Depressed. Hanging with a friend in an attempt to stave it off.
    5. Meeeee toooooooo. I'm supposed to be writing a movie review for the paper. We'll see how that goes.

ps. I hate Macs. This thing should instinctively know that I'm a not-quite-professional copy editor and that when I misspell a word, it's on PURRRRPOSE.

  • 1. I do.
    2. I have back problems anyway, but yes. And I pulled a muscle in my back / shoulder during tennis practice the other day and I feel horrid.
    3. It depends, really, depending on how much medication you actually took and what the max dosesge for that certain medication is.
    4. I'm suffering from what feels like vertigo right now. I'm surprised I'm typing straight.
    5. I hope you feel better. :)

  • 1) :)

    2) I haven't hurt it, but I have had doctors hurt it. I have an issue with fluid where it should not be, not in my back, but they needed to do a spinal tap and those HURT like OMG! I legit had a bruise in my back for months and it felt like someone was stabbing me repeatedly for a long time

    3) Well like others said, you are hopped up on drugs now so I would be careful. Taking them before you go to work may not be the answer especially of they have side effects, take them when you do not have to go to work and see how they make you feel, then use your judgement there on out.

    4) I have been better

    5) Like I said I would be really CAREFUL we do not need you hurting yourself on all these drugs right?

  • Ugh. That really sucks. My dad broke his back a bunch of years ago. He's still messed up from it...

  • v At the moment, just the pills. I'll be having another x-ray done on Thursday morning to see if it was a fracture they saw or if it was just a flaw in the image, but at the moment, I think it'll just be pills.

I'll see what the specialist says.

  • Ouch. That doesn't sound good. So what are they going to do for it? More pills and a back brace or surgery or anything?

  • v Well, I play soccer, and I was our goal keeper on Sunday.

There was a corner for the other team, and everything would've been fine if the stuck up cow on our team had got out of my Goddamn goal.

But no, she stood right where I needed to be, which left me off to the side, which also left me open for a player from the other team to slam me into the goal post.

    Screw them both. D<

  • What happened, if you don't mind me asking?

EDIT: And two days or two years, pain isn't a good thing. No one deserves it.

  • v It's been one day. LOL. Well, no, two. I did it on Sunday afternoon, it got bad on Monday morning so I was sent home from work, it was bad on Tuesday but I got a clearance form and I'm back at work today. xD

I've only been drugged up for a day though.

  • V That's terrible! If it hurts then don't torture yourself. I guess if you've been loading up so much already, it won't hurt to go ahead and add to the mix. Gosh, I really hope you get everything fixed up really soon. That sounds awful D:

  • v I took coadine six hours ago and I was at the dentist five hours ago. I think I'm going to have to take something now though because I can't even sit or lay for ten minutes anymore. I last about three before the pain becomes too much. D:

  • V Oh wow. Hahaha. I don't know when you went to the dentist, so maybe wait six hours after she first put them in to take more coadine? I don't know. Just don't overdose!!
    April 5th, 2011 at 04:54pm
  • v I've been taking two coadine and two paracetamol every three hours with voltaren gel every four hours. xD

I told the dentist I'd had that as well and she still loaded me up on drugs without telling me what ones. F*ck knows what's happening inside me now. It's like a little druggy party in there. xD

  • If you do take the codeine, you'd have to be really, really careful about it. If the dentist loaded you up on drugs, then it might be dangerous. Maybe take one (or half a pill), at the most, and sleep it off.

I really hope you feel better! <3
