  • Have fun, kiddo.

P.S. Get there early, and stand in the front.

  • I want to try to get us in the front, it's so much fun up there. I'm just a bit nervous about moshes because my concert experience has been pretty tame. Hannah Montana and JoBros (not by choice, a friend gave both tickets to me for my birthday, and I couldn't say no) and my most hard-core was Vampire Weekend.

But I'm so excited for this one. Shit's going to go down.

  • lol
T-shirts and jeans are totally comfortable for a concert....well, for me anyway.
I know some people totally rock wearing dresses because it's comfortable for them, but I can't do it.....t-shirt and jeans is a safe option.
    :]

I know that I stand in the very front if I can because I don't care if I get pulled into the pit...it's fun pushing people back and forth....as long as no one injures me too bad.

  • Haha thanks guys! My friends and I are really excited. We're going with the minimum, plain t-shirts and jeans. That's it. I'm pretty sure unless a guy is a complete asshole, they won't push us into mosh pits.

I really like A Day To Remember and Pierce the Veil now that I've started listening to them, all I've been playing in my car this week :)

  • I go to concerts with just girls most of the time.
I've had no problem with that at all.....most of the time, the people around you will look out for you if they're not a*sholes.

I adore A Day To Remember. Pierce the Veil is AMAZING live, I got to see them at Warped Tour year before last. Mosh pits are fun, but you have to be aware of your surroundings.

You will have fun, and I'm sure you will live.
    :]
I mean, I survived seeing Emmure and Iwrestledabearonce.....and they are pretty um, hardcore with their music and the moshing. I'm 5'1 so, yeah...

  • If you're going to a screamo concert, I suggest that you stand near the back. Make sure you put your bags/jackets/merchandise into the locker room (if they have one) or else it will probably end up damaged. Staying near the back probably means you won't get into a mosh pit, and normally in mosh pits they're actually pretty friendly. In my experience, whenever I get knocked over in a pit somebody always yanks me back up. Maybe cos I'm a girl and half the size of most guys that go in the pits. Once I lost my shoes in a mosh pit and everyone backed off so I could find them. But if you don't want to get into a mosh pit, mention to some people near you so if one starts up they won't push you into it.

Oh, and screamo music does have lyrics, they're just screamed XD It's good to listen to if you're angry :)
