This may sound bitter or mean, but I'm going to say what I think about it anyway. If they're leaving you, then how are they your friends? It's obvious they're thinking more of themselves versus you / your friendship with them. & that's sad to know, because you seem like a good person.
Also, even if it's useless of me to say it, it will get better. I know it will. You're going to get through this because you've most likely done it in the past.
Remember that the people like your significant other stayed because they truly care. The ones who stay matter more than you realize. (:
