People are stupid. You know that, right? If you don't want to be soft spoken, don't. Throw some punches, cuss some people out, express your opinions, and if someones acting like a judgemental idiot-tell them. Do what you gotta do, you know.
I know how you feel. I used to be all quiet and everything until I always screamed at this kid in freshmen and sophmore year because he always made fun of me and I'd get annoyed. No one really bothers me anymore. Anyways, kids ARE mean in high school. Try to ignore him.
I can remember the first time I felt that mad. I'm normally a laid back, soft-spoken person who can let most things roll off her like so much water. I remember this "popular" girl started ragging on my friend who was on crutches and I turned around and actually said something to her. Oh, it was not pretty, let me tell you. Another time these kids were picking on a friend of mine in gym. He has asthma and was just out there acting goofy like he normally is and they started making fun of him for it and they didn't even know him! I wanted to turn around and punch them so hard! I also understand how you felt with the second part of ur journal. I have a friend and he dresses and acts kinda girly and everyone in High School thought he was gay. Well, so what if he was? I really don't get some people and I think the worst thing is realizing that many of them will never grow out of it. It just makes them feel powerful, to see if they can get a rise out of others; a feeling of control. Although, sometimes they learn better when their easy marks start standing up for themselves. That's always a funny look! Haha! It's better to just let it go, though. It's not an easy thing to argue with the idiots in the world, they wouldn't understand anyway nor would they learn. Survival of the fittest: they just don't cut it. LOL
