I wouldn't submit a gorey story to school.. You would probably get called into the office and talked to about what ever is in it. Try a more tame but still awesome story.
Even submit a really tacky story board to go with it. My teacher when I was in high school loved my pictures for the story board. Most didn't turn out so I drew stick people. I had a goblin in it and I used my cat as a goblin and a wooden dog puzzle.
I might try writing something more tamed then :)
