Lol, well if you believed in everything until it was proven wrong, then you'd also have to still believe in unicorns, fairies, Santa, Sasquatch, Yeti, etc. And back before science and scientific advances weren't considered heretical and evil, it makes more sense that those people believed in the supernatural and gods and whatnot. But, that's not the way it is anymore. There are people who still believe the world is flat (Flat Earth Society) and that the earth is stationary in space (meaning the sun revolves around us, not the other way around). That's silliness, but I don't hear anybody saying, "well...I mean...maybe they have a point somehow..." just to get along.
