Charmless.- I always miss it. Which I don;t care because I don't want to read it or deal with it if somehow I got involved. I'm just confused when everyone is talking about it.

colorful language In my personal opinion, it is because people do not know how to debate properly. I was forced to take speech and debating classes, there is a specific structure, and everything you say must be factually based or it must have something standing behind it. Opinion alone makes you look ignorant. But of course, in religion fights/debates it is very hard to find some if any factual basis. I am a Philosophy/Theology major to I get the spotlight on me when I say anything in class because my professor will hound me for almost fifteen minutes to defend myself. Honestly, it can be very humbling.

I think that the fights just come from people interpretting other people's opinions wrong, and then when that happens people tend to fly off the handle and get offended that their opinion isn't understood. I don't know, I feel like people tend to be very hypocritical in those fights :l

It's just a clashing of different opinions and sometimes it gets solved, sometimes not. This morning, it was though.

I'm so glad I'm not online when mibba bullshit drama is happening.

I think fights up here happen because people can't...or won't tolerate or try to see things in another pov. That and because people want to start the debate by cursing and insulting each other intelligence and then it turns into a "I'm more mature than you" debate.

You know what, I'm starting to get the feeling I've missed something exciting. Apparently some drama went down on Mibba, because there are a bunch of journals about internet fights and such. Care to fill me in?

a lot of times fights are misunderstandings like you're saying, but there are also those journals that are clearly meant to ruffle feathers, i like reading the comments on those journals. heh.
