People have always been judgmental. But the people on Mibba don't judge you based on your profile (well, most anyways). Even if your some crazy psychotic person in real life, if your writing is brilliant, then people will want to read more. You just gotta be yourself, and write good. If you don't write good, then you wont get reads. People judge based on writing style, not profiles. Nuff' said.
We're writers here. We're strange by nature. Oftentimes we're geeks, but oftentimes friendly geeks. I think your username doesn't give off bad vibes at all. To be honest, I think we all judge to some extent, seeing as we're not totally opinion-less, but I'm scared off most by angry people and accusatory words. Not strangeness.
Mibba is not high school, people in general don't judge others here. If your stories don't get a lot of reads there are several possible reasons. 1. The story lines aren't that great. 2. They're not well written. 3. They're not well presented. 4. You haven't used Mibba's resources to help find readers.
Or about two billion other possibilities. I doubt it's because of your name or profile. Whenever I look for stories, I NEVER look at the persons profile.
Just be yourself and don't think of anyone else's opinions. Look at my username. I'm freaking married to a cartoon character but I don't repel people because of that. It's all about being friendly here on mibba. :) Not what's in your profile, what you have as your username, etc.
Well, in my opinion.. to begin with, you shouldn't even give a sh*t about what anyone thinks about you, besides Mibba is all about writing :D be yourself :)
