I write quite a bit, but no one ever sees it.....I wish I weren't so shy about it.

I dont know where your at with the story, but how bout something along the lines of this: Max confesses his love to the 19 y/o, then 2 or 3 days later, his sister announces that she has been secretly dating said 19 y/o, she's pregnant, and they plan to get married? Just a thought.....

How original do you want to have the reason for his death to be?

But, maybe someone finds out about what happened between Max and the rich kid and spreads a nasty rumor about Max. Max finds out it was the rich kid's friend who started the rumor and that's why no one is making fun of him. The kid really likes Max, but Max won't listen to anything he says. He could like jump off a bridge in front of the kid or send him a note even.

The rich kid could reveal that he was just associating with him as a dare and expose his sexuality to the school or something. Add a twist with the rich kid liking and talking to him. Or maybe his mom forbidding him from seeing the kid. His sister telling his mother about him being gay.

The 19 yr old could have posted it on the internet....Or Max didn't know but finds out the 19 yr old has a boy friend?

Well, I didn't want to mention too much of the story, but around when it starts; his dad is murdered. I won't give any more away than that, so, using his dad as any part of the reason won't work. I mean, his death will be a part of the reason. But I'm just trying to think of something that could happen in between the time he is with the rich guy and when he kills himself.

Maybe, his dad finds out about him being gay or suspects it. Max tries to break up another fight between his parents, but his dad goes off on him and mentions something about him being gay.

Confusing?

Is Max the one you want to kill off? If so since he's so close to his father you could set up a fight between them. Or have his parents divorce and leave Max with his mother.
