Turning People Gay!? - Comments

If those people were good, real Christians/whatever religious group they were, they'd believe that God made them this way for a reason and has a plan for them, not that they're going to go to hell for it or try to change them with stupid ass camps. It makes me sick that people aren't more open minded about sexuality because realistically, it isn't something you get to choose. I agree with what you're saying 100% and wish that the ignorance would just stop all together. :/

I'm in the middle of bi-curiousity now and I must say it's a strange experiance and I don't like it when people hate on homosexuals it's just horrible when people use the word gay as a derogatory term it annoys me soo so much or when they use it on me I start to get upset about it because I don't know!

Unfortunately, all those people who pretend to be gay, bisexual, etc, think that homosexuality and other sexual preferences are a choice when it isn't really.

Katsumi: Experimenting isn't really a choice or even saying someone is bisexual, that's just someone being curious. I should know because I tested the waters of being bisexual before. :P

Some people think that by using their religion, it justifies their hate and discrimination. It's not possible to change your sexuality. A lot of people who are gay have tried to be heterosexual, I myself have tried to force myself to be heterosexual and it's just not possible. But some people are too wrapped up in their religion and hate to admit homosexuality is completely natural. These people won't open their minds though, all we can do is show them it's natural and hope they begin to open their mind a little.

Thats not true some people do make it a choice well in a way I guess for people exspirement with their sexuality the get a choice if they want to be with the oppisit sex and or if they want to go for the same sex, so in a way some do get a choice..

Other then that I completely agree with this journal and it actually makes me really sick that there are people out there that think like that

Being gay, bisexual, or straight, or whichever sexuality you choose is a bodily, personal preference. It's not something you can change.
