Inconsiderate Roommate: Who do you think is right? (Kind of a Rant) - Comments

I mostly agree with you, but my roommates always leave the window open even when it's raining out-- we have a freaking power strip taped to the windowsill (my roommate's idea). Plus, I literally feel like I am freezing solid when the room temperature is a noticeable difference below room temperate, like a degree that two blankets and a comforter can't fix. I cannot stand people who open windows without asking/close them without asking. I always ask to close it when it bothers me.

I had a similar situation. I had an absolutely ridiculous roommate who had banned guys from our room (I had been with my boyfriend for a year and a half, and we go to the same school), would only allow girls (no matter how many) with her permission, even though she always had girls in there, talked constantly on her phone, no matter what time it was, and ended up destroying my stuff when i went to move.
But my new roommate has become one of my best friends.
How easy is it to switch where you go to school?
Definately talk to your RA. That's what they're there for.

Yeah, it might be a good idea to talk to each other and try to figure out a solution or you might end up seriously hating each other, and that wouldn't be good...

Antagonist: I could say something my RA but I feel like it's not that big of a deal to complain to someone about. I'm probably going to say something to my roommate soon because she's screwing up my sleep. I just really needed to vent especially after last night.

Can you complain to the college?
