No matter how much we want this to change, it's no gonna. People are always gonna be concerned about appearance; it's been that way since the beginning of the world. But, it's not all bad, because not everyone cares about appearance. We do to an extent, but what's wrong with wanting to look good? I don't mean buying a ton of make-up and getting plastic surgery, but what's wrong with wanting to wear nice clothes and look professional, as you say? I don't think it's wrong to want to look good, but there's a point where it's too much.

I do blame the media for most of it, but it's also people's own ideas about themselves. I don't think I'm beautiful, and I've been told I'm ugly, but I still have a good amount of self-esteem. It's the media and how people look at themselves. I KNOW I'm worth something, and I wish other people could relaize that they're worth a lot more than what other people think too, no matter what anyone else says.
