Rudeness is born of ignorance and for those who have not experienced loss, their ignorance causes them to believe that it's okay to act in ways which others find inappropriate.
I lost a lot of friends when someone very close to me passed away. They pushed me away and told me to come back when I "got over myself", and they have recently lost someone themselves and I'm torn between being the bigger person and seeing to them, or letting them wallow in even an ounce of the pain I felt.
