Skinny, Not Anorexic. - Comments

I'm naturally thin, I was also premature, so I don't know if that has anything to do with it. People ask if I eat, tell me to, and someone on my Tumblr once told me I was gross because I was "anorexic". I'm not. I have the worst self esteem with my body and that comment they made had me crying. I feel a little dumb for that.

I get what you're saying. My best friend is like that too and people make comments to her about being anorexic all the time too. I think our society just tries to find something wrong with everyone.

all I know is that I'd rather be thin than fat. not being called anorexic, but just...thin. I'm working on it, haha/. but being called anorexic, to me personally, seems less offensive than being called a f*cking cow, lol. buuuut at the same time, I can't say that for sure because I've never been called anorexic so I have no idea what it feels like.

my friend Marcello is twenty years old and...well, a guy, and he's 98 pounds. he's shortish (for a guy), like 5'5" or 5'6" but he's SO underweight. he's naturally like that. he doesn't have a health issue, either. but he likes it. I think he's the only person - let alone guy - that enjoys being that small. he's turning 21 in May and he's like, "haha, I'll still look like I'm 20 when I'm 50 years old, and all my younger friends will look twice my age." /irrelevant.

anyway, I can see where you're coming from. I think it'd be terrible to be called anything regarding someone's weight / body type.

I agree with this journal a lot.
People tend to be very harsh on skinny girls, whether it's natural or due to dieting/anorexia/etc, and it's hypocritical.
By putting down skinny girls people go against they're whole "everyone is beautiful" thing
