I have three tattoos and all of them hurt, lol. some where a hell of a lot worse than others, but you can't really expect a tattoo not to hurt.

behind the ear, I've heard, hurts. but people never get huge ones there; the one you're talking about should only take a few minutes. like, ten. wrists are pretty sensitive, but my sister got one there and she's just as bad as I am when it comes to pain, and she managed to do it.

your foot is going to hurt like no other. I'm getting one that's covering the whole top of my foot and am scared shitless. my cousin and a few friends have foot tattoos and they only took between ten and thirty minutes, and they were in so much pain. they look amazing, though, so I'm sure it's worth it.

honestly, though, the pain will depend on how well you can take it. I'm not very good at dealing with pain, but I managed to sit through three straight hours pain on a single tattoo, on my elbow and down my forearm. I also have one on the inside of my forearm that took only twenty or so minutes, if that. that was my first and it was a kind of sensitive spot, but it's not very bony. then, the most awkward one, my second one, is on the back of my neck. my neck was stiff for days afterward. I had to sit with my chin on my chest for two hours. it tickled and hurt at the same time.

some people say it's like a sunburn being rubbed with a needle. I don't feel like it's sunburn-y. to me, it feels just like what it is: a needle being stuck into you thousands of time and dragged against your skin, lol.

Sounds like a good one! I can't wait for mine, actually I'll be getting two most likely. I really want this collection doll tattoo I found that supposed to symbolize strength, but I plan on changing up some details on it. It's so exciting isn't it? Lol my dad probably wouldn't be too happy either, but for the same reasons of being his little girl :) Besides he has so many tattoos, it would be hypocritical haha.

I had my first tattoo on my finger, Paul (my tattooist) said to me straight away that it would hurt but I didn't think it was too bad, I mean it hurt a little bit, specially when it came to bone in your finger... But the like the rest of the people say, it depends how well you take pain and how bony the places your having the tattoos are... I want another one, I want "Per Sempre nel mio cuore" which means forever in my heart. I just don't know where to get it.

I got my first tattoos a couple months ago, and first off I reccomend waiting until you're of legal age before you get them. Also, it doesn't hurt as much as you're expecting. I managed to talk to my brother and boyfriend while I was getting them done. The tattoo artist will stop frequently and the minute the needle is off the skin it stops hurting. Just make sure you follow the aftercare!

All of the parts of your body that you mentioned, you'll probably feel some pain because they are all fairly boney. The bonier the body part is, the more you're going to feel pain most likely. But really, it depends on your pain tolerance. Some people have a high tolerance for pain so tattoos are a breeze for them and others a low tolerance for pain so tattoos are harder for them. It all depends on how well you can take pain, but just remember that the bonier the area is, the more pain you'll feel.

I know that behind the ear is going to hurt, but then again
wherever you get it depends on your pain threshold.
Also, you'll be able to hear the buzzing noise as you're being tattooed.
Foot tattoos are also painful because the artist will be tattooing on the bone.
