  • I prefer the longer summary because it gives more of an idea of what it's about. But the whole point of a summary is not to have details, just the basics. It's how people build on things. They start with a basic summary, flesh their characters, gain a better understanding of the story itself and then piece them together with changes along the way. Just not always in that same way.

    I'd love a writers workshop somewhere around where I live, but there isn't. So it's really great that there's one by you. I bet it'll help you a lot.

  • I like the longer version better then the first one. It gives more details and you are able to get a more precise idea of the story.

    The whole point of a writers workshop is to improve your writing. Nobody is going to think it is stupid. You'll proably meet some people that will love your idea and give you more ideas for your story. If I were you I would be proud of that story idea, it has a lot of potential to develop into something great.
