I've never had an official relationship till the past few years just sneaky stuff I would do cause I wasn't allowed to date lol.
But now that Im allowed my standard is as long as I'm living at home the man must have the balls to go to my dad and ask his permission to take me out. He must open doors for me, pull out chairs, offer his coat, not be vulgar in front of me at least on the first few dates, and willing/able to protect me.
Which my bf is all these things lol and I have a guy friend before who wanted to date me and was willing to ask my dad but wanted to know how I felt first. If I've known the guy a long time I'd be their gf before dates but if I'm unsure or we just met then we date and dating doesn't mean we are together it's just to test the waters and I could still be looking for others.
