Be yourself. Always, always be yourself. You will not regret it because if you pretend to be someone you're not. You'll end up loosing who you set out to be. High-school will be the best and the worst times of your life. You will experience so much in so little time but the greatest things is what will happen.

high school is SOO much better than jr. high. you have so much more freedom to pick your classes and it's really up to you on how your experience goes especially because teachers trust you more. at my school, none of the upperclass bullied me, mostly because they can't really tell who is who since there are so many people! it's way more different than jr. high because everyone is just more mature. you'll make more friends, and you can join clubs and stuff. just avoid people that make you feel bad and try to stay on everyone's good side and you'll be drama free. :) I feel like I'm jumping from topic to topic but all in all, high school is a HELL of a lot better. don't worry. you might be a little anxious the first couple days, but you'll get used to it, and it'll be a breeze. :)

It is not at all like they say. I just finished Freshman year and other than a few of the teachers and people I already knew who I didn't like it was awesome. It's way more freedom and the teachers at my 8th grade school made it seem like it was so much harder, but it's really not. And like the JennyLynn2012 said upperclassmen will have no problem with you if you're not terribly annoying. I hung out with seniors, juniors, sophmores, and freshmen, though it's a bit depressing when your senior friends leave. But everyone, especially the guys, are really immature and it sometimes makes you wanna hit something (or someone). There will be fake bitches too (I knew one and she sat at our table, but nobody liked her and she's moving this year) But it's really not bad at all. :)

Congrats! I just graduated from High School!
The next two years are really what's going to define you. So if you want to change up your style, now is the perfect time!
You're freshman year you'll probably get a lot of school work. But that's only cause they're trying to prepare for not only the rest of high school, but also college. But again, the next two years is sort of like your grace period. If you're going to goof off, now's the time. Get it over with. Because come eleventh and twelth grade, is when you rally need to get down to business and grow up.
And when I say goof off, I don't mean act like a nuissance to upperclass men. If you play your cards right, upperclassmen will have no problem with you. But if you're annoying and irritating seniors mostly, will hate you. Ignore the tenth graders if you can, they most likely just think they're te hit cause they survived the first year. 11th and 12th grade people are the ones you want to be your friends.
The most imporant thing is to have fun in high school. Remember how you were worried about getting bullied? Well also remember not to be the bully.
Also learn hwo to be a good friend. There was this girl I went to school with and everyone was friends with her but they all secretly hated her because she was a gossiping bitch. She didn't know how to be a friend. When graduation day came, no one clapped for her or took pictures with her, people even booed. Although I feel bad, she still got what she deserved.
Be a good friend, and you'll make great friends, and have great times.

honestly its just like Jr, but with more people. they people haven't matured at all, in fact, they probably got worse. hang with the right crowd. Don't get sucked into the fakeness and backstabbing. try to stay on every teacher god side. turn in your homework on time. stay out of people's mouth, and most importantly. HAVE PLENTY OF FUN. high school can be hell iwthout fun. FUN FUN FUN. :D right now just enjoy your summer
