    The numbers beside peoples' names are points. Everyone starts out with 100 points I believe. Right now, the points system is incomplete. It's still being worked on. There are two ways to earn points right now. The first way is to submit an article or review and have it published to the site. Every article/review published will award you 50 points. The second way is you can submit a book and if it gets published to the site, you will be awarded 10 points for it. When the point system is complete, users can give each other points. But that part hasn't come yet.
