I think photo journalism as an emphasis will be a really suitable choice for you, and really practical too. With the media becoming more and more absorbed into the internet, everything is about images and catching a reader's attention.

It sounds like your parents have their heart in the right place.... but they can't make the decision for you. What university fits you is such a personal decision... when I picked my university, I couldn't even put my finger on what made it so perfect, but it was just a perfect fit, and no one could have changed my mind, definitely not my parents.

I really want too be a journalist too. I'm really sorry to hear about your attack - and I seriously mean that. You're very, very strong. You're definitely not a "show-off whore and deserve to die" - I think that is blatant jealousy. Good luck to you in everything you do - again, I seriously mean it, from the bottom of my heart.
