  • Black is often used as sadness. Black is the absence of color so a lot of people associate it with sad feelings.
White is often used as a symbol of purity and goodness.
Blue can be taken as a sad color, but it can also be used to mean calmness, peace, and serenity.
Red can mean anger but it can also mean love and passion.

No color has just one specific mean. As Dru pointed out, colors are a lot like words in the aspect they can have various different meanings. Like blue for example. To me, blue symbolizes calmness but to another person, blue may symbolize sadness. It's all a matter of interpretation of the different meanings.

I think lightening storms are beautiful, but we don't get them very often in my area. But when we do, they're always so gorgeous to see. I dislike thunder storms as well.

I have a fear of spiders as well. My fears stem from my allergies. When I was younger, I found out the hard way that I'm allergic to spider bites. I get hives and rashes all over my body when one bites me, even the non-venomous ones. I also have a big fear of swallowing pills. No matter how much I try, I can't keep a pill down without choking it back up and ending up in tears.

  • Colors are like words. Depending on the contest in which they're used, they mean different things.
