1D is kind of annoying in general and possibly more so for me because my younger sister is a 'direcioner'.

I too have a soft Big Time Rush. All I have to say is all these new boy groups (in my opinon they shouldn't be called bands because they don't play instruments) have absolutely nothing on the 'Backstreet Boys' . I feel old admitting that. My friend & I made a point saying Jesse McCarthy was our Justin Beiber.

This story isn't mine but its so good! It's like a Alice In Wonderland spin off with the a7x guys. It's funny because the land is called Sevenfold & the guys are the avengers x) even if you don't like the band try reading it anyways (^_^!)

I miss seeing Green Day fanfics on here... I haven't seen one of those in at LEAST 4 months. Which is weird, come to think of it.

I've done the comment swap around 20 times and haven't come across a single 1D fic, despite always checking 'fanfiction'. Weird, because they're everywhere.

Personally, I haven't noticed all the One Direction stories on here. I'm a fan of One Direction, but I'm not so obsessed as to read nothing BUT One Direction. (I like original fiction, anyway. :S)

I'm writing a One Direction fan-fic, but I'm not exploiting it on the net. Actually, I've barely posted anything for it. :/

Anyway, I usually write original fiction (with the exception of three fan-fictions and an autobiography). So, if you wanna check out my stories, I'd love you for life. <3

I agree. There are WAY too many One Direction fics... it's especially annoying during Comment Swap.

I totally agree. One Direction has taken over America. No offense, boys, go back to Britain and stay there.

Before One Direction, the only thing I could ever find were stories about My Chemical Romance and Avenged Sevenfold and those irked me.

I just read your slash one and get you, but I think with slash's (Especially AU's) you are meant to imagine someone who looks like the band member, has the same name, band etc. but is not. I read them like orginal ficition, to be honest, and I find that a lot more enjoyable.

On another note not all slash is bandom. I personally write slash that isn't bandom, though some ryden is good for the system.

Ugh I can not stand One Direction. I'm glad the Justin Bieber fics haven't leaked onto Mibba but these endless 1D fics I get for comment swap make my brain ache. I've found a lot of the writers aren't very skilled, and followed cliche plots with a tendency towards incorrect grammar and spacing. I'm not saying all, but a lot, and I dislike that because it gives fandom a bad name.

I don't find them attractive, either, so I try and read it like original fiction. I barely know what the boys look like, anyway. Haven't seen much of them in my world.
