I don't think that what you said was harsh at all. But no, I have no idea if it was a real band, I just noticed that they were Korean (It was a big group, eccentrically dressed, asian, etc.) but even that assumption may have been wrong.

Is this a real band? Do you idolize them?

I don't know. I honestly don't mean this in a harsh way, so I hope you don't take this in that way, but my best friend and I love this band a lot, and instead of only wanting to buy their merchandise and to listen to their music and talk about them on the web, etc, we started a band a year ago. We always talk about how sad and unfortunate it is that most other fans only follow whatever the band says and act like assholes to other fans if they don't know every single fact and own every piece of merchandise. Some of them are so out of touch with reality that they think the band is a religion.

Anyway, if the band is real, maybe you feel like your adoration for this band is a waste of time; maybe it's a subliminal message.
