I know exactcly how you must of felt. The same thing happend to me back in middle school. Bulling is horrible :(

This is so true. I was a victim of bulling back in middle school. I was emontionly bullied by almost everyone and suicide was always on my mind. I didn‘t want to leave the comfort of my room. But I slowly got better, thanks to an amazing band. So many people get bullied for diffrent reasons, so many people end their own lives just because of bulling. And most of the people who don‘t get bullied don‘t realzie how bad it hurts the victims of bulling. We need to try and speak up and stop bulling!

I've been bullied (not physically but emotionally and verbally) about my bad eyesight. >_< And the fact that people thought I was weird because I never did what the other kids did, or whatever. I may not have been shoved into lockers or gotten the crap beaten out of me, but I know what's it like to be verbally abused by my peers. I had often thought of committing suicide during my middle school years, but now all of that is behind me. Thanks for posting this. :)

This is so good. I was bullied and isolated severely by girls who were my best friends. They spread rumors about me and called me names and made sure nobody else wanted to be near me and basically just made me feel like I was alone. It hurt so much, and at some points I did consider suicide.

But I didn't, and things did get much better. So thank you for posting this because hopefully it will enlighten people and help them understand what it feels like to be bullied like that.

Thank you so much for speaking out about this. I was bullied for four years because of my weight, sexual orientation, and my ethnic background. Because of that, I developed eating disorders and a terrible addiction to self-harm. Again, thank you so much for taking the time to speak out about something serious instead of complaining about how great life is for you and making it sound like Hell

This is so true, and hopefully everyone will understand how everyone feels when they get bullied and what it can lead to.

I read this one already today after finding it in the author's note of a story I read. I recommended it but didn't comment, and after seeing it pop up on my updates feed I thought better of it and came by again. I honestly don't know what to say other than thank you. Haylie said it all so I won't ramble on but again, thank you for this. <3

Thank you. Thank you for putting this out there, because it never ceases to amaze me how little people realise that verbal abuse can do just as much damage as any physical assault ever could, if not more. Bruises fade, but we always remember the hateful words that people shoot our way.

Now with cyber-bullying added to the mix, through Facebook or text or whatever else people might be using these days, I think it's more important than ever that blog posts like this make it out and open people's eyes. So thank you again - I hope everybody reads this and learns.

I couldn't agree more, even if my school is taking their anti-bullying policy way to far this year. We can get detention for hugging now. I just wish they didn't feel the need to take it to that level. I wish it wasn't such a huge problem, cuz now I can't even comfort my friends by hugging them at school anymore. It pisses me off that people I love are suffering because teenagers are such assholes. I finally understand what my boyfriend was talking about when he said he hated being a teenager, we're terrible people at our age. I'm just as guilty as the next guy for shutting someone out, and I hate myself so much some times for being such a fucking hypocrite. It all makes me wish hate didn't exist, but we can't seem to survive without it.

Couldn't agree more with that. Most people have absolutely no idea of how powerful words can be. And the majority of the bullies that I see always defend their actions saying that they were just kidding with the comments that they do, but the truth is that they dont even realize how much they hurt the person who's being bullied with the hateful comments.
Society's just getting worse and worse, and I'm really sorry for those losses too... I just hope some people can open their eyes and see what they are doing to others.

I totally agree with this, and I applaud you for posting this. Bullying is a really nasty thing, and half the time, the person being bullied doesn't even know it's going on, which I find really sad. They think it's just "criticism".

But, I truly agree with everything you said, and that's so sad about those two. Thank you for taking the time to write this.

I love this :D It is so crazy what this world has come to. People are so miserable in their own lives that they have to torture those around them just do they aren't alone stewing I their self-loathing. It's sickening really. Why can't people just own up to being sucking and just go on with their lives. We really suck. And, honestly, it's only going to get worse. The world we live in today *shakes head*.
