Friends? - Comments

Sometimes people do change. It always seems to happen whether we want it to or not. We stay the same, but they change and don't even bother to see their own transformation. I've been there girl. Not just with friends but sometimes even my own husband. We miss how things used to be and wish they would stay that way forever. It really isn't fair. Especially when how things are going, makes us so happy. It also feels like the world should stop turning because we are hurting so bad, but it doesn't. Life keeps on going and it sort of makes you feel cheated. All I know to tell you is, hang in there. Dont dwell on the bad memories or the feelings of betrayal. Try to remember the good times you had and think well maybe she was meant to be your friend for THAT time in your life. She was a person there when you needed someone for all that time. I know you'll always miss her and miss who she was, but remember, that's who she WAS. The person she is now obviously doesn't care how much you are hurting. She's just become somebody you used to know. Try to find someone new to hang out with. Not to replace her, but sometimes meeting new people keeps your mind off of things. Hope that helps. <3

Don't apologize for ranting. Sometimes it takes a good rant to feel better. I have had the same thing happen to me and it does suck major monkey balls that people do that. You feel like you know the person after spending years hanging out and then all of a sudden, boom, new person. They change and move on. It does hurt, but that hurt will go away with time. But the key part in that friendship that went to pieces was that she was able to lie to your face with no remorse about it. That right there tells you that if the friendship would have lasted it wouldn't have been a very good one. Just keep your head up and things will work out in the end.
