I can understand this, because I know about it. I can't sit here and pretend I know what to tell you, but I'm here for you and so is everyone else that cares about you. Keep your head up high, and continue with your outlet. Keep the faith and somehow, you'll be able to return to school and do what you have to do to get back in the saddle.

Wow, I had no idea there were sadly so many mothers out there like that.
You describe your mom exactly like mine, AND my dad expects me to take care of her, plus, I have a 8 month old baby. So I get your situation, in a way.

But luckily, it's not quite to the point where I literally do have to take care of her. And I pray it never gets there, because I have my baby's needs and my own life to worry about.

So sorry you have to deal with all that.
All I can do to keep optimistic is ignore her crap and think about good things, read good books, play with the baby and write.
