University of Texas in Austin? Congratulations! I had a bad first semester of college in Ohio, came home, have gotten a 4.0 in all of the classes at a community college, and am thinking of transferring there if that's where you mean to go. I have a lot of friends there and at Texas State. I'm worried I won't get in for English, but I'm guaranteed to get in for music... I hope I am as lucky as you!November 3rd, 2012 at 01:10am

this is absolutely fabulous, congratulations! i've been bummed out for the past two weeks because i found out i'm gonna have to do an extra year at my community college (three years total instead of two to transfer) because i wasn't taking enough classes each semester. math especially worries me, especially since my counselor told me i have to take Statistics as a requirement for what i want to major in at university(i SUCK at math).
you are an inspiration, honestly. i'm not the most scholarly person out there, and you just brightened my day a little bit. good luck at uni!

I wanted to go to UT Austin first but it's significantly more expensive and I can't get financial aid right now. And it's not easy to get into. I think the acceptance rate is around 28 - 30%. I do plan on going to Austin for graduate school though. :) Austin an amazing city and UT is a really good school. If you plan to apply good luck!
