I came to California and tried to register to vote, but I guess I was too late. But if I wasn't I was going to vote for Obama. How can I vote for a man that says, "It is not my job to worry about the lower-class."? That to me sends up red flags, because that's what my family is low to middle class. Then there's the part where he want to tell me what I can and can't do with my body, his views on things like food stamps and planned parenthood, AND his views on the marriage. Makes me sick as an American... and it seems all people can say about him is "Well, he isn't Obama." Well, no flip, neither is Hitler, you saying you'd give him a chance?

Either way I see it though, we are screwed. I just hope the next four years go smoothly and that they don't mess with financial aid or planned parenthood, because then I would be out of college and bleeding every single day of the month. /le sigh.

Well, as most of the republicans say: I'm poor because I'm lazy, right? Rolling Eyes

If I was American I'd be voting for Obama, at least partially because it's the best way to keep Mitt Romney out of the White House.

I'm not voting anymore because something went wrong with my registration and I can't find my polling place (or any polling place for that matter) but if I was able to vote, my vote would be going to Jill Stein. Don't care if she's a third party candidate and I would have "wasted" my vote. I feel more inclined to stay true to my beliefs and neither of the corporate candidates represent a good portion of my views like Stein does. So I would have voted third party instead of voting for a corporate candidate.

But choosing between Obama and Romney, I'd choose Obama in any case. There is absolutely nothing good about Romney, he will not benefit the majority of this country. He wants to actively oppress many groups of Americans, women and gays being just two examples of that coming oppression if he's elected. In my eyes, he is evil and I would never vote for him for any reason. I cannot support the horrible things he represents. I don't understand how anyone can rightfully vote for him but to each their own I suppose, I'm just hoping Romney isn't elected. Obama has his problems, yes, but he is the lesser of the two evils in the end.

Romney, only because I believe him to be the lesser of two evils.

Please don't make your decision based entirely on social issues. There's plenty of other issues at stake as well.

I've just turned 20 and I'm voting for Obama. Why? Because it takes more than four years to do the shit he promised he'd do, and the fact that republicans are constantly shooting his hard work down is bull, but at least he's actually trying to do something and fix shit. Also, I don't want ANYONE to have control of my own fucking uterus but ME. It's mine, all mine!

I hate the fact that Congress is mostly made up of republicans. You can seriously tell just by the laws that they shoot down and/or agree with. In my eyes, Republicans mostly use religion as an excuse to pass a law. They let church and state mix together which is not good considering the fact that not all of America is Christian or Catholic.

Obama isn't perfect. Heck, no president or person is. But Obama is a much better choice than Romney. It makes me sick to think Romney could win. I talked to a woman today who said, "I'm a woman, I'm poor, and my husband's an immigrant. Romney wouldn't like my family." Mr. Green still makes me laugh. But anyways. It's not all Obama's fault anyways. Congress plays a part in this, and Congress doesn't always do its job. Sometimes they shoot down a law all because whoever suggested it might be from the opposite party.

I'm 23 so I did vote, and I voted for Obama. He signed the Lily Ledbetter Fair Pay Act, passed Obamacare, saved the auto industry, supports full marriage equality, repealed DADT, is working to repeal DOMA, is pro-choice, and is much, much more in touch with what it means to financially struggle than Romney could ever hope to be. I could never vote for Romney, because as far as I can tell, he has absolutely zero compassion for other human beings.
