Extreme Voter Fatigue - Comments

I feel like people really just want instant gratification with this economy, and nobody seems to remember that it took FDR 12 years and a world war to get us out of the depression. It's not so much the Republican/Democratic debate that upsets me as it is the fact that people are just so plain uneducated anymore, about everything, but especially when it comes to politics. I was the only one in my political science class who could explain what communism was, but everyone throws the communist label on everyone all the time. I just. Don't. Get it.

I really hope Obama wins. I'm not crazy about Obama but he is the lesser of the two evils. Romney is just plain evil, there is nothing good about him and it bothers me how many Americans support him. I don't understand how someone can support the hatred and oppression that Romney stands for. He will destroy this country if he's elected, both socially and economically. He will toss us back into the past and stop progression into the future. Obama will do some harm, but we have a better shot of survival with Obama whereas we don't have much of a chance of a shot with Romney. I'm not voting either unfortunately because something went wrong with my registration a few weeks ago and I am so pissed about that, but it's just life I guess. From what I know, Obama is ahead in the polls so I hope those numbers get to the ballot boxes too. I will lose what little faith and hope I have left for this country if Romney wins tonight.

Mitt Romney is a tool and a fool. He's always been a dumbass to me, ever since he showed up to an interview brown, and doesn't deserve to run the country. Apart from that, I doubt wantANYONE telling me what I should do with MY fucking uterus, ya know? If he wins I'll spend the next four years bitch slapping anyone who voted for him to the sound of that new Green Day album hahaha

Sadly, I'm 99.9% sure Obama is going to win and it won't be long until people will regret having voted for him.

I take it you can't register at your polling location on election day in your state? I'm so glad we can in Minnesota.

I've had some ridiculous debates with some of my family and friends, too. Some really heated ones. And of course some of my more ignorant family have had to weigh in with their two cents. *eyeroll* But...I'm definitely hoping for the best. On a lot of things, not just the presidency.
