  • I LOVE this, Alex. So true and I agree completely.

  • I think that your mother's right to a certain extent. For early elementary years, I think it fits, because boys just don't know how to express themselves at that age. But, as they get older, you're right - it's not because they like you.

  • v. Definitely. And I'll make sure if I have any kids that they don't buy into "being popular"
because it means jack shit. Thankfully, I learned this early on but I won't stop them
if they want to aim for that; maybe they'll grow out of it, I don't know. Just not the dark siiiiide. :c

There isn't anyone cute enough for me to do that so I'm leaving in about a half hour
with my best friend to shop. OH WELL, new clothes and stuff is a good time.

Yessss. I had Thanksgiving food for lunch and dinner and I regret nothing. Cool

  • @ kitsch

Exactly. I'll teach my daughter to look straight at d-bags and say "swerve" lmao. Ain't no body making my baby cry like boys made me cry or hurt.

Omg a couple of my friends and I are going to Black Friday to people watch. tehe
Thanks lots, sweet face! I'm getting ready to go eat my weight in goodies. :D

  • This totally reminds me of a tumblr post in regards to this topic. It's pretty sick how
society deems certain things acceptable; especially since I was raised on that notion
too that bothering someone to the point of bullying / harassment showed that they liked you.
It was downright idiotic once I figured it out on my own. It's like how I mention to my grandma
that certain people of the male species irritate me when they are rude to my face and she's
quick to say "well maybe he likes you." No, grandmomma, that is not why he is being a
Grade A pain in the arse. Rolling Eyes

Getting ready for Black Friiiiday. & Happy Thanksgiving to you, Alex. (:
Hope yours goes well, mine was splendid. <3

  • I'm exactly the same. Somebody picking on you doesn't mean they like you, it's bullying and they should report it.
