Well, I happen to be from Australia, too. Cute

At my school, we don't really have cliques, but there are the obvious groups. There are two kinds of popular groups - the jerks and the nice ones. The jerks are those loud, obnoxious girls and guys. The ones you see wagging school and wearing skimpy clothing. The thirteen year olds with cake faces. The nice ones are the ones who are friends with everyone and don't really care what you like and stuff.

We have nerds - which is what I fit in with - and they're just genuinely smart and into video games and Japanese culture. They're also the ones with the sharpest tongues. Consists of a lot of Chinese and Koreans, because our school has international students and stuff.

We don't really have the goths and emos and punks, but if we did, I'd probably fit into the punks. We do have the people who think their punk, though. The ones with one piercing and go around swearing who have no clue what punk actually is.

    But yeah.

    Mainly we have cake-faced girls.

I am so sorry for my internet's stupidity of putting my comment through before i was done. >:(

There were a lot of cliques at my high school and the Cheerleaders (Or preps/jock girls) were often a mixture of girls from all the cliques, though there were lots of mean preppy girls but they were nice for the most part. Then the jocks were the handsome athletes (who often either had money or actual brains) - the same could be sad for the Preppy Cheerleaders. The Goths and Emos were often clumped with the punk people, but they were more or less the shy quiet people that were always considered the LGBT people and often times they overlapped into the nerd cliques, who were more or less really smart and/or into comics, video games, and animes.

I personally fit into all the cliques without actually being apart of them because I was friends with everyone, though I might've been more of a nerd then anything. XD

My school really didn't have cliques. I mean, yes people were made fun of, but it wasn't one particular group. I just called them jerks, for uh lack of kinder words. I mean, I really don't know what group my friends and I would have been considered as. I had friends who were athletic, musical, smart, not so bright, partied, quiet, uhm weird beyond anything. So, I never really noticed.

In my high school, everyone hung out with each other in a very casual manner, and there was really no judgement on how you looked or what your interests were. There were pretty much no cliques in it. You just kinda chilled with people you knew outside your close friends if you wanted to.

Hmm, interesting question. Here in my school, in America, we have cliques. But it's not as drastic as portrayed in movies and such but yes, it is true to a certain point. The 'nerds' are people that just look . . . nerdy, with glasses and generic clothing that classifies them as 'boring'

The jocks don't particularly pick on them but they are pretty mean to them either behind their backs or make crude remarks that upset them. It's not as drastic as the movies show it though, there isn't crazy bullying like people being shoved against lockers. Sure there's bullying, but it's not that chaotic.

The 'jocks' are usually classified as the athletic people and mainly just the people that are good looking and cocky, the type of people that love being loud and arrogant. It's actually kind of annoying most of the times.

The skater punks are also classified as jocks since they're loud and obnoxious. The emos and goths are annoying, in my opinion, since they're just weird.

Well, to the last question, what clique do I belong to? Well, I've had tons of jocks hit on me, nerds have liked me before, and random guys as well, making me guess that even though I'm in honors classes, I'm not nerdy in their eyes. I guess they see me as the pretty smart girl.

My high school was pretty clique-infested. We had the "preps", "jocks", "goths", "emos", "nerds", and even more. Each group, especially in the early years of my career there, would stick to themselves. I still remember this one time my freshmen year I tried to sit with my friend (who was considered "popular") and my friend's friend said I couldn't sit with them because there was "no room." As time went on though, the upperclassmen started to mingle among different cliques.

However, it wasn't just popular people at my school who were really catty. It was also the emos and goths as well; they were just as catty and mean. I don't think a lot of people see that often, but I hung out with those kids my freshmen year.
Nerds at my school were just those who were "not fashionable" and good at school. They were usually a little weird according to social standards being into things like anime, comics, and things like that.

I didn't have a huge clique that stuck with throughout high school. To be honest, I was kind of a loner. I didn't have many friends.

My school is an all girls school. There aren't cliques, really. I mean, there are groups of the really loud girls, the really funny girls, and the quiet girls who talk and sit with each other yet at the same time we all like...are civil and friendly towards each other for the most part?

I mean, if we're going with categories, I would fit in the quiet group and one of my best friends fit into the jock group. So I don't really think there are cliques in my school.
