My Rant About Marriage - Comments

  • Well, thanks. Diana, when we said that, I hope you know it wasn't in this way at all. Society has come to that point where in reality, nobody cares anymore to make things worth. It was more of a crack at society. So, this really pissed me off. And, second of all, the other reason this was even said was because we know we can't have them. I would never do something like this, but we weren't serious. So, I don't understand why you even mentioned this. Because it's as if you were pointedly attacking me when those aren't my views and you know that. Just wanted to let you know. But, it's fine I guess.

  • PPPREEEACH IT.

I don't really have much else to say because you've pretty much said it all.

  • Omg I agree with everything you've said. I think this applies for a relationship as a whole though. I'd never dream of cheating on my other half at all. It's wrong and horrible.

  • I agree with this. Like, if someone is married, WHY try to pursue them? I mean, in cases of cheating, the person in the marriage is at fault, too, not just the "mistress" (although many women cheat in their marriages, too), but I'm not sure why people would want to go after somebody who was in a committed relationship.

And I hate people who are like, "Well, I was unhappy in my marriage." THEN WORK ON YOUR MARRIAGE. GOOD LORD.

I've grown up with the firm belief that cheating on someone is the most serious form of betrayal, and that loyalty to family is the most important thing. So, girl, I feel ya.

  • It's not okay with me how people hold marriage in such low regards this day. Lots of women have no problem with pursuing married men, and vice versa. It's awful. My best friend is married and if a woman were pursuing her husband, I would go insane. I would get so angry at that woman. Marriage is sacred and important.
