I know exactly how you feel hun and it really is disheartening to see it happening. Peoples standards have seemingly dropped from close to nothing, to below zero. They don't seem to care how poorly something is written, so long as it has sex in it, they're happy. Which is terrible. What kind of world do we live in if this mind numbing shit is what's being praised over good quality. I have heels higher than the standards of most of these readers and that's a brain draining thought.
