Bless that. All that. Like holy shit customers are so inconsiderate sometimes.

Apparently the woman called back two more times after I left claiming I overcharged her for orange juice (I didn't) AND that I purposely gave her a bottle of busted bleach that leaked all over her kitchen. Neither container of bleach she bought was leaking when I checked her out. She told my manager I "wasn't a good people person and that I needed to be fired". My manager was like "actually she's the best cashier we have so..." . Like holy shit. I'm still pissed. I've NEVER gotten a complaint before. I regularly get compliments on our customer service surveys, I try my damndest to appease these people so I don't take kindly to some crazy asshole attempting to get me fired for THINGS I DIDN'T DO.

    AMEN.
    This. So damn much.

Today, I got bitched at by a lady. She gave me 4 bags, and the crap she wanted in them would not fit. Like, I knew it wouldn't. And so I left out a bag of paper towels, which is considered correct because no one wants them bagged.
"I gave you the big things first so you could pack around them."
"I have to catch a taxi. I need everything in these bags."

Tell the cashier this shit FIRST. We don't read minds.

    @ she's so high.

Luckily the manager on duty was on my side. I've never had any complaints before, I've never done anything to intentionally upset the customers. I'm not a problem employee and they know that. I just so happened to be unfortunate enough to be in the register when she came up.

    @ isadora pierce

The public continually proves incompetent in their attempts to try to show those working in the service industry are "trying to get over on them." I'm not trying to get over on anyone. People are just too moronic to read tags and admit they fucked up.

    @ Tomb Raider.
I put her on hold and passed her off to the manager. Apparently she's given our pharmacy hell as well. She's milking the system for these $25 dollar coupons they get when they transfer over prescriptions, and she had two on there. She was mad she had to pay $4.60 partially because of tax. Those coupons do not count towards tax and she's taking it as though I was attempting to be a bitch and overcharge her. I don't even know. I really hoping she doesn't try to come back in tomorrow.

If she does I'm just going to have to call the manager and walk away or I might do something to get fired. I'm about to get a promotion; I really don't need that. Just urgh. I genuinely abhor customers sometimes.
