A Rant... and THANGS - Comments

It's going to be a total bummer if you do decide to go on hiatus, but you need to do what's best for you. Like LittleEvil said, you're one of the few authors that I read on here. Most of the other ones that are on my feed are perpetrators of improper grammar and too many editing mistakes. But you need to do what you need to do, have a kick ass birthday, then get your Latina butt back here and write your heart out.

Happy early birthday!! As for the job, I don't know about California, but here in Ohio STNAs are getting hired every where. Health care is a pretty good field- plus you make bank, depending on where you work.

Kinda sucks cause you're the only author I actually read on this site, except for the odd time I check if Whitney has updated.. But I understand why you would need to take a break. Sometimes there is just way too much going on to have the right mindset to write. Just please don't leave for good.

I'm with you about the blogs thing. Especially when someone posts a blog about their day and everyone on my friends list recommends it for no reason. Okay, they had a nice day, but the blog isn't of any importance to me or their readers, to be honest. I don't understand why everyone recommends pointless blogs. I don't need to see that flooding my news feed, I want to see updates for stories. >:/

Most of those things can be saved for Tumblr. This is a writing site above all else, where are the stories?

Maybe a break would be good for you in the end. Eventually, we all need to take a break from certain websites if we've been on them for a while. Maybe the time for a break from Mibba has just come for you. It's happened to the best of us I think. I don't think Mibba's update is to blame for users leaving though. Users just leave, you know? They grow away from websites and find new places to post. That's probably the case with a lot of users who have become inactive or left Mibba entirely, they just grew away from the site.

I've seen a lot of people saying older members are being "stuck up" and I honestly don't see it. I know the older members are more 'combative' I guess you could say and will engage other users in friendly debates, but I haven't seen many of them being 'stuck up' like a lot of users have been saying. If you see someone harassing another user or anything like that, it's best you report it. This alleged behavior can't be stopped if users aren't letting the staff know it's going on.

In the end, it's your choice. Do what is best for you. If you think a break from the site is what you need, then you should go for it. Just remember to do what benefits you the most in the end. ^^

Omg! I know. I totally agree on the more blogs being all over the dash. I'm not really fond of that either! And I've went back and read some of Whitney's stuff too. Just please don't leave forever! You and Kayla are the ones I recognize on here from Old Mibba even though we haven't talked much. Haha.

Oh, and a very happy early birthday! I wish I could see Pierce The Veil, but I'd have to leave Canada for that. Haha.
