Same here. Mibba is like my second home. I'm always creeping. Mibba is a very great website. The no bashing rule makes it better than most other websites. The admins are amazing and the rest of the staff are sweethearts. Even the majority of the population are wonderful. Which is why I'm still even here. I would have dropped this website years ago if it wasn't for the amazing members and staff.

Many take it too personally to. Like on the suggestion threads, I've seen people get attacked because their suggestions weren't needed by that person. The attacker took it as a personal insult to get rid of something or add something. Suggestions aren't the law or the rules. They are just ideas with opinions behind them. I usually try to be nice to those who are being harassed on there and tell them what I like about their idea. Because I was brought up no idea is stupid, or wrong. Yeah when I see someone bashing I do step in. It may not be my place but I get protective when I see a user being bashed. If I felt someone wrote a bashing blog or comment, I'll let them know. Some people don't mean to which is completely okay. It's the users who stalk others and harass them that make me angry.

Exactly! I tried reporting it too. It wasn't the first time either. I have opinions that aren't always supported. But I'm not pushing my opinions or views on anyone. I state them where they belong (like the threads). I usually get bombarded with questions like my opinion isn't good enough. I shouldn't have to explain myself, especially to a person who twists my words and tries to get me into trouble. Nope hope nope.

I'm not in high school anymore. A few bashing undertones isn't going to make me go ape shit on someone. Well on Mibba anyway

Exactly. There still are good people on here so that keeps me going and makes all the harassment worth it. Mibba has become a way of life for me just like real life so I don't want negativity and hurtful scorning to go on.

People take stuff on here way too seriously. When I see someone dissing a band as their own opinion, sure I may not agree with it but I just ignore them. Obviously they felt like ranting so I mind my own business and just try not to be confrontational, but if someone is out right bashing someone else for their interest, then I step in lol.

Yep. It is harassment and being attacked. There is rules on Mibba about it too. It's not fair because I don't harass, attack, bully or hurt anyone. You had every right to write about 1D. For people to harass you is messed up. I actually had someone tell me to quit standing up for myself because no one agrees with me. That was fucked up.

At least on Mibba the good people outweight the bad. I've met more sweet and nice Mibbians than the nasty ones. So I'm happy about that. But no one should bite their tongue.

Everything is so expensive these days. Cable internet is not available. Like not basic cable. That would still fall under satellite. We can't get the local basic cable we had to get Direct Tv. They are a great company, it's just they would have to come out and put an entirely different dish in just for internet. It's really frustrating lol.

Ah that is a good word I couldn't think of! Harassed. Yeah I agree with you too. Sometimes I just want to avoid sections on here myself so I can steer clear of harassment.

An opinion is a opinion. Not one person in this universe has the right to your opinion is flawed or wrong. I myself am sick of having to avoid certain areas of Mibba because no matter WHAT I write I get harassed. I may have unpopular opinions but they are my opinions.

Lol, you're actually not the first person to mistake it for a sad face. It must be me :P and yuck, Internet bills. What about cable, is that not an option where you are (unless that's satelitte and I'm just an idiot). I totally feel your pain though, my Internet bill just shot up and all my hopes and dreams of getting cable for the TV drifted away until after Thanksgiving.

I absolutely agree. I'm always the type to say what I'm thinking, but it seems like some people go around posting blogs that are just mean and are meant to be cruel towards people that like certain things.

Exactly. I mean there are some people who can ask without being rude, but there are others who will ask the same question or similar questions repeatedly to the point of it being more like harassment than 'innocent' conversation. It happened to me on facebook when I was talking to a Mibbian but since it was in the chat portion it can all be deleted and somehow with the right stuff, can be altered within a screenshot, I never really got to say anything. I mean it doesn't mean that people can't still feel...upset/angry/hurt over it, but like Diamond Bunny said, Opinions are just that, opinions, and not facts.

lol no no! Don't stop using it cause of me. I have to use dial up internet where I live because it's considered a dead zone from all the giant rocks and things. So unless I pay for pricey satellite, I'm stuck with dial up. I have to run my internet quality setting real low to get Mibba to even work. So pictures and other graphics are blurry. So to me, I didn't see the little hearts lol just his droopy eye brows that made me think it was a sad face! My bad lol. That's why I asked to be sure I didn't make a mistake.

You know what makes me sound totally conceited? I love when people find something they love because of me and what I recommended. My husband is easily influenced by me because he respects and trusts my decisions and opinions about things.

Like for instance, he would have never gone to Chic Fil A restaurant on his own and bought a chicken biscuit with cheese and used the Honey Roasted BBQ sauce on it. I suggested it and he tried it and loved it. Now....he has got his uncle hooked onto them to the point where he gets them nearly every day of the work week. Me and my husband go there at least three times a week ourselves. None of that would have ever happened if it wasn't for me sharing my opinion about it to them.

I've also noticed on Mibba that a lot of people will recommend my blogs and end up liking something because of my influence. I'm not saying this to act like I'm the coolest person ever or that everything I like is amazing, it just makes me feel happy that people catch on to the things I like too.

It's stupid, I agree. I commented on said blog, offering my opinion wish I never bothered now haha. I don't really care what people think about me or my opinion. People can disagree with it, fine. Not everyone will agree with me. I'm the same, I speak my mind and if people don't like it well then it's tough shit lol. I think we need a group hug!! XD

I think people need realize that just because you are stating your opinion on something that it doesn't mean you are bashing the topic at hand. Opinions aren't facts, and shouldn't be bashed on in the first place. Just like debating, just because you are disagreeing with a person doesn't mean that they were insulting you, if that makes sense.

I completely understand. A lot of the times when I don't post a blog about what I think of on the moment, is for the same reason. I have a tough time describing my feelings also without sounding.....I don't even know the word for that lol. Condescending quite possibly?

I think maybe some of what I say comes off as self righteous probably, but I don't mean it like that I'm just not good at detailing my feelings into words because they are so strong and complicated. I feel I have to explain myself in depth for people to understand me and it takes forever.

I like that word you used there......misconstrued. Good choice.

This blog. I think more people need to stand up for what they believe in (within the Mibba guidelines) because I've been bashed for stating my opinions on here and everywhere else before. I tend to keep to myself though, not out of fear of being bashed, but because I often can't really think of what to say exactly and no matter what, my words can be misconstrued and twisted up by someone and as much as I hate that, i can't really explain myself very well without going off topic...
