I can't say that I know any of those. I've heard maybe one song by Chris Young. Just as a hint though, more people will join your contest if you have more variety, so maybe put all of your country music on shuffle and pick the first ten songs - people are reluctant to write stories based around songs they've never heard by artists they've never heard of. Casey Donahew Band, who apparently not a lot of people have heard of, Chris Young, and Brantley Gilbert. I've heard Chris Young and Brantley Gilbert on the radio but I learned about Casey Donahew Band through my cousin so I don't think they're that widely known. I just found the list and listed them in the thread so if you wanna look and maybe see if there might be one you want to try they're all there

Just the artists would be fine! I just want to make sure they're artists I've heard of. I tend to like more late 1990s - early 2000s country, so I don't know a lot of new stuff except for Blake Shelton and, like, Taylor Swift if she counts.

Yes! Someone else that loves country! I have a list made up of the songs for it but I don't have it with me right now for the exact songs. If you'd be alright with waiting a little while I could message them to you later on when I have the list or I can just list the artists for now.

I love country music! If you can give me an idea of the songs you'll be using, I would be more than happy to join your contest.

Also, as far as unpopular music, most of the things I like are really acoustic and folky. For example, I really like The Head and The Heart, Aoife O'Donovan, Ari Hest, Jeremy Messersmith, and Benjamin Francis Leftwich.

I find them by searching on my own. When that fails I'll post a blog asking for stories. If THAT fails, I go on my page and look at what my friends rec.

I write in an unpopular genre, horror. I also write in a unpopular fandom, Creature Feature. I don't get much reads and such, but I write for myself anyway.

I usually find the stories through recommendations or just on the story page.
