I'm so angry. #JusticeForTrayvon - Comments

I'm glad someone else is angry about it. I was ashamed to be an American when I heard the verdict. I honestly have no idea what went down between them except that Trayvon Martin was shot and killed, but Zimmerman was told not to follow Martin and he did it anyways. If he thought the boy was a criminal, he should've called the cops (as he did) and left it at that, and stayed in the car. While I don't know if he shot in self-defense or not, I think he should've been found guilty of something for following the boy.

I. KNOW. This system is so fucked up. Welcome to America, where you can kill an innocent teenager and walk away free. And the irony of the whole thing is that Zimmerman is afraid he's going to be killed by vigilantes OH THE IRONY.

Ugh, I'm so angry. Trayvon Martin deserves so much better.

See I'm really glad I saw this blog. It means someone is actually paying attention to things like this on this site because it NEEDS THE ATTENTION. This is a serious matter, and I've seen roughly five blogs mourning the death of a celebrity that most people didn't care about before but just THIS ONE focusing on the fact that Florida let a white man walk out of a court after shooting a kid in the chest without so much as a manslaughter charge.

Now that is total bullshit. This is the more important matter, because it shows how unjust our court system really is.

So true. I feel so bad for that child's family. And for every other person who has to walk around knowing that the justice system does nothing to keep Zimmerman and people like him off of the streets.

I'm beyond pissed too. And then we have the Florida woman who shot a warning shot and now she's facing 20 years of jail. A WARNING SHOT AGAINST HER ABUSER. And, of course, since she's a WOC she gets 20 years for that. But white male Zimmerman shooting and murdering a black teenager in a hate fueled crime? Nope, he walks free fucking pissed.
