I'm glad too! It irritates me to no end when people say that movies are better now or when I talk about an "old" movie and they're like, "Ew, that movie's so old!" Grr
I feel like the plotlines and actors were so much better back then. And the male actors weren't so annoyingly buff looking. But yeah, Pretty in Pink and the Titanic are awesome.
I actually really like Breakfast at Tiffany's my friend's obsessed with Audrey Hepburn and she showed it to me for the first time this year and it's so good!

lol Thank you! Yay, finally somebody with the same taste in movies as me! He should have won the Academy Award, sometimes I really question those award things, because I always think they go to the wrong people/films. The full Outsiders movie is so much better than the original, sometimes I forget they didn't have all those extra scenes in it at first. Like, I'll go to watch it on youtube with a friend (even though I have both versions of the movie xD) and I get surprised when it starts with Dally, Johnny, and Pony meeting up. I'm like, where the hell's the rest? Lmao.

I wanted to have a movie marathon the entire time I was writing the list! I can't talk about any of those movies without wanting to go and watch them right away.

I actually have seen Legends of the Fall and I love it! His acting was fantastic in that movie. For some reason I didn't remember that when I was writing the list. But it would definitely be in my top 40 because I've watched it quite a few times and love it. (Plus, that was the time period of Interview, where he was like, unbelievably gorgeous. He's always gorgeous, but that was in my opinion, his prime.)

  • You, m'dear, have amazing taste in movies. I love every single one of these. I mean, seriously, American History X? Dude. That is one of the most intense movies I've ever seen! My emotions are on overload every single time I watch. Norton so should have won the Academy Award for that because he was phenomenal. And Fight Club? Holy crap, lol. I was tripping so hard the first time I watched that. It's such a mind-fuck but it's so great. What else? OH, The Outsiders. Honestly, one of my favorite books ever. I read it in one day because I couldn't put it down, and then I watched the movie and I was so obsessed, lol. It sucks, though, because so many people have only seen the theatrical release version of the film, and not the complete novel version. I believe the latter was so much better and it covered a lot more of the book, ya know?

And, of course, Breakfast Club, Interview with a Vampire, Pretty in Pink, St. Elmo's Fire. I so want to have a movie marathon right now, at almost 2 in the morning. Lmao.

I wanted to also mention that since you're a fan of Brad Pitt (like myself), and you're interested in a lot of his more dramatic roles, you might like Legends of the Fall, if you haven't already seen it. It's quite a tale of up's and down's and I thought it was incredible. Cute
