Awh I'm sorry... If she can't go, the two of us will totally go together! Mr. Green *Feel like I just came up with the best idea in the world* lol.

Two years is a freaking long time!! :(
Well I haven't been a fan for that long, but I've taken a liking to them, they're really great :)

Aaawh! I feel so sorry for him/them!

I'm totally going next year, hopefully my best friend will get to join me this time. She might go out of the country :(

They are really great live, I can't wait until I can see them again, I swear. They said it'll be like up to two years until they get back to europe though, once they bring out a new record. *pouts*
Thank you, but don't be jealous! I'm jealous of people too... akjshdlasd. I hope you'll get to meet those bands too, since you seem to also like them :) It's always nice...

Phil had some personal problems with his wife... and gosh I felt so bad for him, really. And he was pissed at the festival arrangements because he felt treated unfairly, and I totally understood him. Then they had trouble with the soundtech and it pissed him off, too...

Yeah true. Though I think there was a pretty cool line-up this year!
But hey if my friend and I decide to go there next year, we'll have to meet up and hang out! :D

Hahaha pictures is ALWAYS taken on the worst times! But it sure is cool that you got on the guestlist!
Aaawh! I've always wanted to see them live and to meet them, they seems like really generous people. Oh yeah he is such a dick for caring for people, I see thatRolling Eyes Nawh it sounds like you had a GREAT time that day, I'm so happy for you! ... And a bit jealous that you got to meet ADTR and BFW, but oh yeah I'm happy that you got to meet them! :)
    - Why didn't then have a goot time? :O

I'll so do that! ... Or I'll just tell him that I'm willing to give the old people in the bus a cup of coffee every now and then, that should help. Haha.

Rock Am Ring is definitely worht it because the lineups always great. It's getting a bit worse year by year now, but it's still fucking great. I was there from Wedneday morning 5am to like.. Monday morning 3am or something, haha. The camping itself the days before the festival was insanely cool! Always good people! :)

Ohh, that's awesome as well!: Happy to hear you've had cool experiences, too, it's always nice.

And yes, that happened with All That Remains... sahjdasd. Phil messaged someone of Unearth because they were at the warm up show, and I love Unearth and we got on the guestlist. (Omg, i actually found a picture of me from that show, and it looks like I'm facepalming in the first row, haha! I was wiping my hair out of my face, I think.
But I had the greatest time.. the festival itself was really great. At first we just got in for free. All That Remains had a signing session at like 4pm and we went there. instantly when Phil saw us he got up and hugged us and it was just so great. He's one of the nicest people I've ever met, and so many people say he's an asshole. Fucktards don't know shit! (He actually sat down with me because I was having some problems with my "Boyfriend" even though he had to get ready for their show. See how much of a dick he is? )He talked to his manager then and gave me and my two friends backstage passes so we could hang with the guys at their bus. Jason and phil are so easy to talk to about all kinds of stuff, amazing!
Of course we couldn't resist checking out the backstage area, hehe... I got to talk to a Day To Remember for a bit after their show, but it was only briefly. Parkway Drive and In Flames were running around, too. My favoirte moments happened when we returned to the bus and ATR were hanging out with Bleed From Within (such nice guys, too!) and we then just went to the festival together to watch In Flames play. So fucking nice. :)
ATR played afterward and I loved their show. They've been one of my favorite bands for years.... Unfortunately they didnt have such a good time, but I thought the show was great anyway. Best time of my life though, really :)

Next time he comes to Bremen, just come with him! Sneak into a bag or something!

Oh my God it was extremely long, haha Swoon

Well my mom cares, but probably because I've been away from school in quite a while, so she wants me to take good care of my school. Not that my grades are bad because they aren't, but yeah.

If I'm going there, I'm going to be there the entire festival - all days!! (And before and after the festival Thumb up ) It's not even that expensive, I mean there's always a good handfull of amazing bands, playing all day long - what more can you expect, you know?Very Happy

Oh yeah, I went to see Asking Alexandria in January as well. Kinda a waste of money but I had a great time, and I got to see Betraying The Martyrs (one of my fav. bands) together with WSS & MIW, so I think it was worth it. Then I went to see Bring Me The Horizon & Your Demise - that was quite expensive as well. And yeah, I haven't been to other shows than that this year. I would've gone to Asking Alexandria at July 2nd, but I was in Copenhagen that day soo... BUT I did meet/bump into/see All Time Low on a shopping street in Copenhagen July 1st, which was kinda cool!
Yeah I think I've heard of that festival actually - not completely sure though... Oh yeah you wrote a blog entry about All That Remains (and how you met/hung with them), right? I think I read that - It's pretty cool I'm not jealous, not at all Snob *hiding in my closet, crying of jealousy!* ... I mean, it's so cool and it sounds like you had an awesome time with them, huh?

Yeah exactly! I mean, I have great memories with most of the bands I've met! Both WTK, BTM, BMTH & YD ... And all of them involves hanging out with the bands, which I enjoy a lot!!

I just realized that he've just been thereFacepalm He actually got be a gift from there, so yeah. But it would've been great though!

  • Oh gosh, such a long comment, haha! I appreciate such good conversations though! tehe

I dont let my parents tell me no anymore, really. Not when it comes to concerts. I'm glad your Moms letting you go to those shows, at least. My mom doesnt really care, but I think it's because I take good care of my grades and stuff.d

I have also always wanted to got o RAR before, but just like you; too young. I loved it this year, it was...fucking insane. So good, really. Definitely worth it. I spent six days there, actually. haha.
I had to pay like 200 euro for Rock Am ring, perhaps a bit more. The ticket, plus gas money and food and stuff. But all worth it. Then I went to see Asking Alexandria in January, Silverstein in April, Asking Alexandria again in June, Stone Sour, A Day To Remember and All That Remains. And my ticket for A7X also counts to that. I also had a ticket for Vainstream which was like 60 euros but I sold it, (dunno if you know it, it's a festival here), buuut.. the All That Remains gig was three days before it and we kinda made friends with the band so we got on the guest list for the Opening Night concerts, and for the festival, even with backstage passes. (Greatest shit, ever.) I love spending my money on bands. Though i wish I would've saved that money on AA. Not worth it.

    Aren't those the greatest memories?!

Awww, yes! That's pretty cool. Let's just pretend you can come too and we'll spend the greatest time! :D Hug

Ah true! My mom told me that I could only go to A7X and PRoach if I don't miss out on anymore week days than that (in school). And hey it's a reason for me to celebrate my birthday, which is exactly 1 month after the A7X show, aka at December 11th (because I'm cool enough to share birthday with Zacky V - and eye color - and being a lefty ... I'm totally his unknown twin!
    Mr. Green)

I've never seen them, I missed out on their show in DK back in 2010 -I'm so stoked to see them now! ... You went to RAR?! (ofc. you did...) - I've wanted ti go there the last 3-4 years, but next year I'm finalky old enough which means I'm going and my mum can't do anything about it. Mwuhahaha!

Awh really?! He seems so sweet!! .. Can I be dead with you, please? Last year I went to see Simple Plan & We The Kings (Huge fan of both bands), and I hung out with Travis, Coley, Danny and Hunter (of WTK - Everybody except Charles - I did meet him though), and Travis kept telling me that he loved my hair and that I could be his fake ginger friend (lol). Oh and as the only person he did it to, he kepy kissing my cheek all the time ... I died a lot that night, haha!

Exactly! - wow, for real? And I thought I'd used a lot of money, but I guess not. Haha!

Oh and you said that you're from Bremen, right? - my granddad is actually working for this bus company, who plan travels around in Europe, and he's actually going to Bremen soon, and will be there for about 4-5 days! Very Happy how awesome wouldn't it be if I could go with him and we could meet up?! ... It'll probably never happen, but it'd be soooo cool!
    - btw. sorry for any possible mistakes in this comment, I'm writing on my phone!

  • I totally would come to Denmark, but the date sucks. I might only attend the dates in Frankfurt and Bochum too because it's Friday and Sunday. Sucks!

Omg, you're seeing Papa Roach too?! Hug I am so stoked because they're coming to Bremen November 10. Bands rarely do that! CAN I JUST EXPRESS MY EXCITEMENT FOR SEEING THOSE GUYS AGAIN???!?!?! jaskhdklasd. I saw and met them at Rock Am Ring, but it's not the same. (Jacoby said he loves my hair i died okay, I'm still dead RIGHT NOW)

Exactly! Especially important shit like that. Concerts. I live for concerts, I swear. I think I spent like 600€ on concerts so far....this year.

  • @ EzioAuditore
You should come to the one in Denmark :P

That'd be so cool, but I convinced my friend to buy one and she did, + I'm going to see Papa Roach at Nov. 12 :) Oh and it'd be too expensive to go to Hamburg, I'd have to pay for a hotel room. Lol

You are?Arms Thank f*ck I'm not the only one who plan there stuff like 4 months ahead, hehe. But seriously I don't get how people cannot have their things planned the day before "it's" gonna happen... I just love to have shit planned as early as possible!Coffee
    July 17th, 2013 at 12:44am
  • Yes. I got my ticket for Hamburg right the day the tickets went up for sale! I might also go to their shows in Frankfurt and Bochum, depends on my money :)

Oh man...try to sell it to someone maybe? I'm sure SOMEONE would buy it. And then you can have both and we can meet! :) hehe.

I have the fucking thing so planned. I'm terrible. I'm not from Hamburg, but from Bremen. I'm going to Hamburg Monday afternoon, couchsurfing for the night, then I'll be at the venue at like 9am or something! :D (tmi, I'm sorry. xD)

Awh I'm so sorry to hear! I know the feeling though. I really wanted to go to this huge festival in Denmark called Roskilde Festival last year (July 2012), mainly because Suicide Silence were one of the head-lining names. But because I only were 16 years old at that time, my mom wouldn't let me go! - One of my friends stood front row to that show, and held Mitch's hand! Sad I'm so bumped that I never got to see/meet him!
    July 17th, 2013 at 12:32am
  • @ EzioAuditore
You're going to the A7X show in HAMBURG?! Oh man you should've told me! I was actually considering it, seeing as I only live like 2-2½ hours from there :O
    - But I already bought my ticket to the DK show Facepalm
    July 17th, 2013 at 12:29am
  • @ Sara Horlyk
Well this if off topic...but last year...I was about to order Suicide Silence tickets for their December show... They are my favorite band but my man kept bitching he wasn't going with me so I didn't get them because I figured I could go see them another time. Well...Mitch passed and could you imagine how eerie it would have been if I had purchased those tickets..then finding out he had passed. Ugh. Sad I want to see Avenged for sure because I'm afraid someone else might go.
    July 17th, 2013 at 12:28am
