Hmm...I didn't really give it much thought but now that you mention it I do see it.
I may be a blonde but there's no way the main characters in any of my stories are going to share that, I mean some will but I try to give the variety. I make some redheads and some with black hair, I even do brunettes cause why not.
I guess there all into the whole "blondes have more fun" and let me tell you that sentence is not true in my case lol I'm the awkward turtle at parties whenever I'm invited to one lol but still I'm not prejudice against them either but this blog has me keeping an eye out.

I agree, it does seem like blondes are more preferred over brunettes and I am one myself. I'm not going to lie here and say that I don't like blondes you know, I think blonde hair is beautiful but so is brown.

Blondes, brunettes, redheads can all have the same personality, all have fun despite their haircolour. I just don't get the slight favourism of blondes. I mean I use mainly like brunettes, not because I am because there are people that are brunette that I find super gorgeous, more than blondes because to me, blondes somehow are starting to get more stereotypical .

I have no clue if this makes any sense, I can barely think because I've slept 2 hours only haha.

I feel redheads are taking the lead when it comes to character hair, regarding females.

For myself, whatever character pops into my head is what is written. If I see blonde, she's blonde. If I see brunette, she's brunette. Sometimes I may change it, but never to fit any type of stereotype or cliche, such as blondes having more fun, etc.

The lead in my stories in generally always a redhead... Because I am one, and like to make a version of myself be in all my stories. Because my life is boring and I get to do whatever I want in my stories...

I use all hair colors in my stories but I think I used red hair the most, or enjoy using it the most. I usually give the lead darker hair and some other important characters blonde. Probably because I'm not blonde, though I've definitely had lead females of all hair colors.

I think out of all of the stories I have written, none of my characters are blondes. I just really like brunette and redheads, considering I'm a brunette.

The lead for my story has copper hair. I have only gone for blonde hair once but I never continued the story...

In a lot of stories that I've seen, blonde's a always the characters that are super mean, so maybe author's are trying to change the stereotype that has been used in stories in the past...?
