I'm 18 and I've never had a boyfriend.
I've only been hit on once and it was the most awkward, uncomfortable conversation I've ever had.

I also know someone who had the same issue as you where her sister overshadowed her. Now that her sister is married and moved, she's the one getting compliments and hit on. Hang in there; there's more to life than boys and bands. . .

Girl, I know exactly how you feel. Like you are me when i was in high school, for freaking real! No joke.

I only had like three friends in high school, three and then two had to go to a different school, so I only had the one. And senior year, she and I had our fall out and completely stopped talking. It really was awful, just ugh it makes me sad to even think about it.

Anyways, about the whole pretty/beautiful thing. I was you, guys never looked at me in high school, never flirted with me, never even held a damn door open for me. I was that quiet weird girl that sat outside of the library during lunch.

I know it sucks, but I didn't even get my first boyfriend until I was 18 about to be 19. But that does not mean you are not pretty or beautiful or cute or adorable. Because I think you are such a beautiful girl, I honestly believe that.

And after my ex and I split up earlier this year I constantly believed I was ugly and not pretty anymore, but then I started believing people when they told me I was beautiful. Easier said than done, I know, but trust me when you start believing it more people will notice you.

I don't know how it works, but when you feel good and feel beautiful, it shows and people are draw to that confidence. And it won't take long for you to find someone cause girl, you be gorgeous! Haha!
