What you're saying makes sense and it's much easier to write something down as oppose to talking to someone face to face.

Take control of your life in all aspects. Set aside a small amount of time/money for yourself and for social activities. If you budget your spending just to make room for these small things it will make you feel so much better. Make a plan, I will not do more than x amount of hours on a saturday and I will have a takeaway for dinner and watch a movie with my friends. Small luxuries make a big difference and if you alter your lifestyle in that way you will feel a lot better. This structure will help you feel more in control of your life. And days out with friends don't need to be expensive. Just a walk in the park to talk, or window shopping once a week will help keep your mind off things. Aim to go out a least once a week, it will help promote your sense of well-being.

Write all your feelings down, i've read your poetry and it's beautiful. I feel that when I write a problem down on paper, it's like I'm letting go and moving on. Structure your writing as well i.e. 1 poem per week and in a few weeks time you will see what you have accomplished.

I know fitness doesn't seem like it fits into this at all, but it does. A healthy body means a healthy mind. Go for a run sometimes, it will help clear your head and like the poetry the outcome will make you feel good about yourself. You could make this into a social activity, inviting friends to help you with the workout and support you.

You're a strong person, always remember that :-) xxx My friend went through a period of self-harming and this advice really helped her xxx
