Why would you ever say that to someone? - Comments

This is gonna sound crazy, but I am fairly certain that girl is on here. It's the same story you posted, except it was in Roanoke, VA. She was on the local news explaining what happened and her sobbing, hysterical reaction was called fake. She ACTUALLY just posted about it yesterday or today. It's really horrible people are so heartless and such horrible sacks of flesh. :/

v that's horrid. not everyone is an emotional wreck when they're in pain. some people just grow a pair and keep themselves together, so they don't embarrass or disrespect themselves or their lost one.

Oh I know, there can be a bunch of assholes on reddit.
What killed me was people commenting on the video that this woman's reaction to her daughter's death was fake due to the fact she wasn't crying or having a mental breakdown on camera.

reddit can be a cold place at times, believe me i know that.
you get people of this sort on every subreddit. every comment thread. every post. it's dumb but it's true.

People are awful... When my sister passed away, the day she was born, it hit us all hard. My brother was obviously hurt, but we never saw him cry. That didn't mean he wasn't upset...

Then my mom had a friend who kept trying to tell her exactly what she was going to go through, like it's automatically what happens when someone loses a child. I think that's another reason she greatly appreciated my cousin being there. She had lost her second born, and his 9th birthday was the Saturday following my sister's death, but she was there for my mom all the time... Just being a shoulder to cry on, and trying to do supportive things.

Plus, who says the women hadn't spent that whole time crying, and held herself together long enough for the interview? Some people don't like people seeing them cry.... Does anyone else hate our society more and more everyday?

There are just foul people everywhere. There's always gonna be one. We've just got to remember that those people don't deserve for us to give them any attention. Even though it's hard to do =/

I hate that I give people like this who don't matter the satisfaction of my distress. They deserve nothing from any of us. Not curiosity, not anger, not disappoint. Absolutely nothing.

People are horrible are so is the media. Just.... It's ridiculous. My heart goes out for that girl....losing a child is hard enough without having to hear such horrible things people decide to say about it.
