1 Haha, no. It's hard enough trying to write stories set in California, which is a state I've yet to visit.
2 I think anything psychological would be difficult to write because it takes so much information to make it accurate and information takes research. I've never done anything like that, but if you're willing to try, you should go for it.
3 This sounds really cool. I couldn't do it because I write fan fiction and I use the same male characters over and over again. Unless I wrote a story about a parallel universe where they met their long lost twin, it just wouldn't work.
4 I haven't really shopped around, so I can't say.
5 I always do 3rd person because I just have more freedom that way. I can get inside all of my characters' heads and tell a story from more than one angle.
6 The length doesn't really matter as long as something happens in the chapter. Whether it's establishing character relationships, giving insight to a character's background, the first kiss between the male and female leads that readers have been waiting for, etc. It doesn't always have to be absolutely riveting, but I have the attention span of a 5 year old , so you gotta keep stuff happening to hold my attention.
7 This also sounds cool. I haven't read any, although Roses Painted Black sounds like it's right up my alley.
Hope you got all the answers you were looking for.
5.) I really love writing in first and third person point of view because those are two of the ways I would actually talk to family in.
6.) I love both long and medium chapters, it gives you more detail to the story and you can get a better connection to it. As in a short chapter I think would be best used for a summary and I will grow tired of the story if it continues on with it's shortness of every chapter
