For a long time I took time off Mibba simply because a lot of my friends had left. However, they were all in college and didn't really have time for Mibba anymore anyway. That was before the site change and now that the site has changed, I've made a lot of new friends and feel like Mibba might be more active (for me) than it was before. Maybe it's just me but I think Mibba has improved a lot as far as activity. I do see a lot of abandoned threads in the forums but hey, sometimes people get bored with one thing and move on to another. I've seen a jump in article and review activity so...

I dunno, I think it's all great Cute

Well, all the stories I read have been abandoned, all the people I used to talk to are gone. I spend most of my time on tumblr now, but I come here regularly to see if any of my friends have come back. While for some people Mibba is thriving, for others it's losing it's spark. I think thats what they mean.

The fourms are quite dead, haven't been able to find someone who is serious about roleplaying in a while. I post stories - get zero feedback, I've taken to posting on AFF.net where I get tons of feedback.

I think, people used to be more generous when it can to commenting, and telling me what they thought about my work. I think people miss the days when we didn't have to do a comment swap to get someones advice.

Yeah, I agree. A few months ago people were saying Mibba was dead when I had at least 4 people I messaged habitually and stories I was subbed to were updated often. I just Facepalm maybe there are certain fandoms that are sort of dying out/taking a break? I don't really know... maybe they're sort of like me and don't read or write much on here anymore, and they use it more as a social network site with blogs, etc.

I think it's slow to people who have been here a while, maybe? I joined a number of years ago before ''the great deleting'' as people call it, when a massive portion of users were deleted. It really was a much more welcoming place back then aha, compared to then I guess it is partially dead now ^^

I took a two year hiatus from mibba for school. When I came back it was completely different. Not dead, but very different. I'm still getting used to all the changes, but I still love Mibba even if most of my old friends and my favorite writers are pretty much gone. It just gives me a chance to make new friends and find new favorite authors.

It depends on what people write on here. It's flooded with fanfiction and incest and weird shit, so all of that gets attention. So, if you write that, you're going to get comments.

I still talk to a lot of people, but I do know a lot who have left by just reading the blogs. I think mibba is very slow now, partly from a lot of people leaving and partly from the server errors.

For those of us who no longer write, the boards are it though. I have had writer's block for over two years and I don't really read anymore. However, the boards have always been a safe place to go and speak one's mind.

    No longer.

Lol Mibba seems slow to me but definitely not dead lol. I guess I just am used to talking to so many people who used to be active or more active but I've been on the site awhile and even during the big site change. For me it seems a little slower but it always picks back up again and hey.... The site slowing down isn't always a bad thing. A lof of the drama has died down. tehe I'm glad you're here though! I like reading your blogs. Mr. Green

:O Something nice said about Mibba? Quick, hide your blog. Just kidding. But I said the same thing months ago, the death of a site depends on how active you are at times. Mibba is slow for me right now because I have school from 8-10 then work from 10-6, so I rarely have the energy to get on and be active like I used to. Shifty But there's no dening that the site is running slower than it used to. Parts of the site aren't getting updated the way that used to, and I think that's okay.

Every site goes through a few slow points. I mean, it's the holiday. A lot of people left to go on family vacations, and right now a lot of schools are going through exams. Right now for me, we're having end of the semester exams.

I'm just sour at the moment cause I posted a new story and no one want's to give feedback :( Although it is new..but it's not in bandom, I branched out a little so I can't expect much I suppose :( I'm just down on it. :( I feel like there's no reader's anymore, simple because I used to ask for feedback and got it, now I can't get any :(
