Haha other people have valid opinions too. I try. And yeah. As long as people are educated- and if you don't want the abortion or the baby there are tons of families out there who would love to adopt. Know your options. I agree.

Exactly. I mean, people have underground abortions while it's legal, so illegal abortion rate would only go up, not to mention it's extremely dangerous for the mother and can be bad for the baby if it fails. Personally, I don't think a woman should just have constant unprotected sex and get various abortions - because one, it's unhealthy for her and two, you should've learned from the first mistake - but I think every woman should at least have that option.

And I love the way you put that because, even though your opinion is different, you understand others opinions. That's where a lot of people - even myself sometimes - mess up.

I hate people like your uncle lol. My personal stance is pro life, but hear me out. I think abortion should be legal because 1. You can't legislate morality and 2. It's not a perfect world and awful things happen and it's a free country. It's sad but sometimes you have to choose the better of two evils. Also, if it weren't legal, women would still get abortions, just in a much more dangerous and unhealthy way. That's my stance.

Yeah exactly, the odds aren't really in their favour if they're underprivileged, have a bad upbringing, have disabilities (maybe from their mothers drug use) or possibly treated like shit because their mother never wanted them. Whats the point of having a kid just to give them a shitty life and hope against all odds they'll do something great despite their suffering.

and even if they have the slim ability to become something big, if a mother isn't a equipped to raise the child correctly - like a good enough home for them - then, chances are, they won't obtain everything they need to get to that point. not always, but someone's upbringing can mess with what they believe they're capable of or whatever a lot. if that makes sense

exactly! omfg. that is the most irritating part to me about abortion debates.

"what if your baby has the brain to cure cancer?" or what if they grow up to try an exterminate an entire race of people, I'm just saying apparently Hitler's mother wanted an abortion but got convinced to keep him and I think we can all agree that a lot of people would have been better off if she didn't. Keeping your baby only because there is a slim chance they might grow up to cure cancer is a shitty reason to not get an abortion.

I always hate that "what if your baby finds the cure to cancer?" argument because my rebuttal is always: "what if the baby is the next Hitler?" No one will EVER know, not for sure.
