You could be right about a 5 song EP, though. I haven't been keeping up with anything to do with the band or members (aside from Frank and his side projects) since March so it's definitely a possibility.

I wouldn't use the term "sellout" but something along those lines is also why I will not be buying the album.

Michael isn't automatically shortened to "Mikey" out of default because "Mike" commonly comes from it as well so I really don't get the apparent outrage at that? It's the same damn thing just without one letter.

Probably not. I have some quite silly notions myself. I also won't just yell at you because I am clearly not a huge fan of MCR so I'm just all "whatever " about it.

It's stupid really, about his name. Like, he probably wants to sound a bit more mature or something. Honestly, it's not that different.

A 5 song EP? Are you talking about what's being released in March or something entirely different? Or did I miss that? Because I know they released two songs from October to February of this year the songs they made for the album that was supposed to be released instead of Danger Days but nothing about an EP. And I think the "Attic Demos" is from Bullets era? I don't quite know myself.

Behind me not buying it? Other than I have better things to spend my money on, yes. But I dunno, the reason is probably thought to be "wrong" and "silly" so I don't share it.

Frank's done a lot of stuff since the split. I think he had a band with MCR's ex-keyboardist, then another band was made, he released his own song "For Jamia" recently and he's in a film that's being released soon (-ish). But people throwing a fit about him wanting to drop the 'y'? Really?

I know of the uproar from Mikey to Mike, that was mentioned quite a bit.
But thank you. Like, it hurts when bands break up and knowing they probably won't make music again but MCR are torturing their fans with all these extra songs and such.

I think so. It's a 5 song EP or something now, yeah? That song isn't infamous enough, haha. I've never heard of it.

Are you thinking of MCR5 (which was apparently in work with some songs done and anticipated for a 2013 release until they broke up?)? Maybe some of them will be on the album because apparently the infamous "Attics Demos" will be on there.

All I know for sure is that I will not be buying this album.

EDIT: A year and three days after their announcement it's going to be released. Smooth.

Oh, okay. Thank you very much. Don't they already have an album that wasn't officially released after their break up?

It's because of "May Death Never Stop You" which is their greatest hits album that's being released next year, like only a year after their split.

I have more to say about this matter but I'll refrain other than they're apparently releasing new songs on the album.
