Its not even the age thing, it's the fact that people think they actually have a chance with these famous people. It's like "um no, your too far away and in their eyes, annoying probably" just my opinion. haha

Without fangirls, a majority of the bands in this scene most likely including MIW wouldn't have taken off. Yeah, they have male fans but the fangirls are the ones running band Tumblrs, buying clothes, buying albums, going to concerts, and generally spreading the love for the bands. I can't think of many of the bands in this scene that would make it without that support. And we all had that initial moment of fawning over someone, I can't think of a single fangirl who didn't. And I don't believe the ones who said they never did. Plus, last I checked, telling someone how to act was a pretty high school thing to do. They're thirteen. Let them have fun.
