My battle with Rheumatoid Arthritis - Comments

  • My dad has had RA since he was in his 20s. He's been in and out of hospitals for all sorts of different treatments.

I hope you find a way to work around it :)

  • Hey dear, I couldn't help but stop and comment.
I have carpal tunnel. There's some days I'm too weak and numb to even open doors and my wrists constantly give out. People think I have tourettes because I flick my wrists a lot to keep away the pins and needles feeling and I have spasms every ten or so minutes. My wrists lock up, my fingers get cold and I can't feel them but they hurt. It's hard to explain but it is a pain I wouldn't wish on anyone. Then on top of it I have other problems (sciatica and rls). I'm a mess half of the time and I hate to admit it or even talk about what goes on (like the fact I want to gnaw my legs off for relief and I slap my hands on tables to keep myself feeling). I really hope you get a little relief and can continue your writing or whatever you love. Just know you're not in misery alone. Arms
